Greg Holliday is a self taught artist who relies upon his inherited talent. His use of color and emotion is visible in each work. Greg works in acrylics, oils and wax as well as other media on canvas, paper and panel. He works on large canvases where his art displays remarkable depth and patina.Greg’s artwork is influenced by Rothko, DeKooning, Kline and Pollock. He works with a wide color palette. His finished artwork is characterized by attention to detail, shape, color and balance.Greg often leaves his work untitled as to not obscure the imagination of the viewer. He believes art is personal for everyone. He lives in Atlanta.
